Nancy joined Place Group in 2019, and has 20 years of working experience in central and local government agencies. She is a terrestrial ecologist by trade, with extensive experience in biodiversity inventory and assessment, monitoring, management and restoration, as well as strategic planning and prioritisation at regional, sub-regional and catchment scale.
This is complemented by a strong basis of knowledge in sustainable land management principles and on-farm operations, biosecurity and the regulatory frameworks around each of these topic areas. Nancy has highly developed written and oral presentation skills. She aims for a pragmatic approach to problem solving and particularly enjoys projects that enable her to learn and add to her existing knowledge and skills. Nancy’s main hobby outside of work is constantly trying to rebuild her fitness. She enjoys many activities outdoors and in nature - walking and attempting to jog/run preferably off-road, road and mountain biking, swimming at the beach, amongst other activities. She has also retained her little girl crush on horses and ponies through to the present. |
